Expertise Areas: Business Development & Resource Mobilization

I apply 15 years´ global experience in business development and resource mobilization in advising clients and working hand in hand with them to generate results. Strategic support I provide in this area includes:

 

  • Business development / resource mobilization strategy 

  • Targeting and segmentation

  • Development of compelling engagement approaches

  • Pipeline management (including use of technology support tools)

  • Drafting of proposals, bids and RFP responses

  • Client relationship management

  • Pricing and negotiation

  • Cross selling and up-selling

  • Post-sale implementation planning

 

My journey in this area began promoting financial services products for Barclays, before moving on to advise partners on business development at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and later partners at law firms Allen & Overy and Salans (now Dentons).

 

Business development was an important part of my role at training consultancy TMA World, where I initially led the sales team and brought in business from organizations including General Electric, Santander, Société Générale, British Council and Lastminute.com.

 

More recently, my work at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has included the creation and stewardship of global partnerships (financial and in-kind contributions) with private sector corporations and foundations.
